Christian Horner mewakili Red Bull menghadiahkan RB5 kepada Adrian Newey
Semalam pada hari pertama Goodwood Festival of Speed, Red Bull racing telah menghadiahkan jentera RB5 kepada Adrian Newey. Jentera RB5 adalah jentera yang direka oleh Newey dan digunakan oleh Red Bull Racing pada musim 2009 dan merupakan jentera awal Red Bull Racing yang paling kompetatif dengan kemenangan pertama RB5 ialah di Shanghai tahun lepas dan di pandu oleh Vettel.
Adrian Newey adalah designer dan pakar aerodinamik dalam kancah F1 yang telah menghasilkan beberapa jentera yang menguasai F1 sejak lebih 10 tahun lepas. Sebelum menyertai Red Bull Racing pada 2006, Newey merupakan pengarah teknikal pasukan McLaren Mercedes.
Selepas menerima RB5, Newey juga telah memandu RB5 berkenaan di Goodwood untuk beberapa pusingan.

I was nervous before my first run, as I’d never driven a car with a hand clutch before and had never left-foot braked expect in a go-kart – but it’s really fantastic to drive. A slight fright was that I wasn’t prepared for how long first gear is, so as I was pulling out of the paddock it was pushing me on a lot. I was saying to myself ‘hand clutch, hand clutch’, but the automatic reaction is to go for the left foot! We went up the hill on wet tyres, so it was a gentle drive.
